Beto Sensei

Beto Sensei is a renowned Colombian dancer who made his mark in Japan as a pioneer of Cali Colombia-style salsa. After relocating from Colombia, he brought his expertise and passion to the Japanese dance scene almost 20 years ago, revolutionizing the way salsa is taught and performed.

As a principal dancer for the esteemed dance company Mulato y Su Swing Latino from Cali, Colombia, Beto Sensei honed his skills and showcased his talent on international stages. His crowning achievement came when he became a World Champion in the Salsa Cabaret division, claiming the top spot in a competition held in Beijing.
Today, Beto Sensei shares his knowledge and experience with students in Japan, inspiring a new generation of salsa dancers. His dedication to preserving the authentic Cali Colombia style has earned him a reputation as a leading figure in Japan’s salsa community.

Grace & Show

Dynamic Duo Redefining Dance; Since partnering in January 2024, Grace & Show have been electrifying stages across Europe and Asia as solo artists and as a duo. Rooted in Sensual Bachata, their style blends seamlessly with Hip-Hop and other genres, showcasing their extensive dance experience.

Grace, a trailblazing Japanese artist, made history as the first from her country to perform at the 2023 Amsterdam (Adam) festival and led a workshop at Europe’s largest festival in Geneva in 2025. She’s also choreographed a Bachata piece for a major American film, highlighting her expressive power as a performer.

Show, a versatile dancer trained in Hip-Hop and Jazz, boasts an impressive resume with contest wins, choreography credits, and appearances in films and stage productions. He won a national competition in 2018 and has since excelled in Bachata competitions globally.

Together, Grace & Show bring their unique styles and experiences to the forefront, pushing the boundaries of dance and captivating audiences worldwide.

Hide & Peko

Meet Hide & Peko, Japan’s trailblazing Salsa power couple! They made history as the first Japanese duo to place 4th in the world at the World Latin Dance Cup Professionals On1 division.

Their impressive credentials also include collaborating with legendary Fania Records on the groundbreaking project “Salsa Around the World” – a first for Japanese Salsa dancers. Known for their electrifying performances, dynamic teaching style, and one-of-a-kind powerful style, Hide & Peko are Japan’s premier Salsa couple. Sandra

Born in Peru and raised in Japan since age 10, Sandra Takayama is a trailblazing Latin dance instructor, performer, and world champion. As director of LATIN STYLE dance academy (established in 2013 and incorporated in 2019), she shares her expertise in Bachata and Salsa through workshops globally.

Sandra’s dance journey began with traditional Peruvian dances like Marinera, followed by street dance styles like punking and hip-hop. In 2013, she focused on Latin dance, forming the duo Curvas Latinas in 2014. With Curvas Latinas, Sandra performed at Japanese club events, backed Latin singers, and showcased her skills at festivals.

As a competitor, Sandra represented Japan at the World Latin Dance Cup and World Salsa Summit, winning three consecutive world championships (2017-2020). Her experience extends beyond dance, having worked as a secretary at the Peruvian Embassy in Japan (2018), where she gained valuable insights into cultural promotion.

Sandra continues to promote Latin dance culture through collaborations, live streaming, and choreography exhibitions. In 2024, she launched a professional Latin dancer training program, aiming to elevate Latin dance in Japan’s entertainment industry.

With her multifaceted career, Sandra inspires and empowers dancers worldwide.
